Mr. Miguel Reinet Gaither was born November 19, 1955 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Densie and Cora Caldwell Gaither.

He attended the WSFC public schools and was a graduate of East Forsyth High School. Mr. Gaither was a retiree of Johnson Controls Battery. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

Spiritually, he was a member of Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church.

In his spare time he loved fishing, especially the annual fishing trips with the fellows. He also loved camping, traveling with his family and working on cars.

Mr. Gaither was preceded in death by a daughter, Taronya Covington, great grandson, J.R. Cherry and two brothers, Donald Caldwell and Arturo Gaither.

He departed this life Monday July 8, 2024 at his residence.

Surviving are his wife of the home Alma H. Gaither; two daughters, Temeka Gaither and Annette Gaither; five grandchildren, DeCarlo Cherry, Lorenzo Gaines, Kiyah Gaither, Kaylan Gaines and Cirenity Vaughn; three great grandchildren, Anyla, Naija'leya and Sevyn; four sisters, Odelia (James) Neugin of Mineola, FL, Adriola (Walter) Reed of Winston-Salem, NC, Shelia Gaither of Winston-Salem, NC and Arlene Gaither of Lake Wells, FL; one brother Vernon Gaither of Winston-Salem, NC; two special sons he raised, Shawn Gadberry and Rayvon Squire; sisters-in-love, Shelvy Garcia, Jo Ann Hairston, Jennifer(Clevis) Fulton and Sherry (Michael)Williams; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including a devoted friend Shelley Miley.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday July 16, 2024 at Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am-12pm at the church. Interment will be held at Gardens of Memory Walkertown, NC.
