Ms. Minnie Lee Eaddy Wilson was born May 16, 1932 in Lake City, South Carolina to the late Liston and Christine Singletary Eaddy. She was a graduate of Carver High School in Lake City, SC.
She later moved to Winston-Salem, NC. Ms. Wilson shared residence in Lake City and Winston-Salem for over 50 years. She worked in the home raising her children and taking care of her family. She also worked seasonally for Export Leaf and Tobacco.
Spiritually, she was a lifelong member of Mt. Clair Missionary Baptist Church and while there she served on the choir.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson; a daughter, Christine Wilson; a son, Robert L. Eaddy; and three siblings, Betty Eaddy, Charlie Eaddy and Liston"Buster" Eaddy.
She leaves cherished memories to her children, James Wilson Jr. (Lena), Jeannette E. McSwain, Shirlene W. (Rev. Bobby) Dargan, Charles Wilson and Janie Thomas all of Winston-Salem, NC; two nieces and a grandson that she raised as her own, Col. Rebecca Elliott Wilson (Anthony) of Gastonia, NC, Minister Barbara McCaskill (Sammy) of Pageland, SC and Antonio Hoyle(Tamisha) of Greensboro, NC, ; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren including two devoted great grandchildren, Kameron and Jakai Segars and their mother, Jamekia Segars all of Winston-Salem, NC; great great grandchildren; a host of cousins, including devoted cousin, Mary Brown; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 29, 2023 from 3pm-6pm in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held 12:00 pm, Tuesday October 31, 2023 at the Sandhill Memorial Park Cemetery, Lake City, SC.
