Ms. Minnie Lee Jones Glenn was born November 18, 1925 in Wake County, North Carolina where she also attended the public schools.   She was a retiree of Piedmont Leaf and Tobacco.  She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Glenn was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Glenn; two daughters, Emma Lee Jones and Betty Hutley.

She departed this life Tuesday December 10, 2019 at the Trinity Glen Nursing Home.

Ms. Glenn is survived by one daughter, Yvette McClendon; one son. Jack Glenn, both of the city; four grandchildren, Anthony Jones, Charles Forward, Frankie Hutley, Gerald Glenn; eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends including the staff of Trinity Glen.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon  Friday December 13, 2019 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am-12 pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
