Born on April, 18, 1957 in Winston Salem, NC, the son of James and Eddie Mae Caldwell. Reginald David Caldwell passed away unexpectedly on December, 20, 2023 at the age of 66.

Reginald attended and graduated from Reynolds High School.
He worked at Winston-Salem State University and Arbor Acres.

Reginald is survived by his only child, his daughter Aquanette Sims, and grandson Tavion Hardy.

He's the youngest of eight siblings. Carolyn Caldwell- Gordon (Larry Gordon), Janice Caldwell, (deceased), Ronald Caldwell, (deceased), Gerald Caldwell, (deceased), Nola Yvonne Caldwell, Cynthia Caldwell, and Mae Kathryn Caldwell.

He had a love of watching wrestling, buying clothes and shoes. He also loved to dress and look nice. His contagious laugh made everyone laugh no matter where he was. Reginald's true impact was felt in the lives he touched. His unwavering presence brought immeasurable joy and love.

Reginald was a devoted and active member of Zion Memorial where the pastor is Reverend Randall A. Zion Cain, Jr.

Reginald has a host of nieces and nephews, as well as a host of devoted friends. His girlfriend Elaine Govan, loved him tremendously and will miss him dearly. We appreciate and thank each one of you!

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday December 28, 2023 at Zion Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:30pm-2:00 pm at the church.
