Obituary

Reginald L. Potter, known as "Daddy O", was born on August 6, 1956 to the late Rufus and Mary Florence Potter. In his early years he worked as the head chef at Holiday Inn West.

He was well known for his laughter and he would lighten up a room with his charm. Everyone that knew him liked and loved him. He was never a stranger to anyone. He would always make you laugh when you were feeling down. He was a man that loved his children and his grandchildren.

He departed this life on Tuesday,  December 8, 2020 at his residence.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Rufus Potter Jr., Thomas Smith Sr., and Carl Potter; two sisters, Mary Lee Potter Pollard, and Linnie Mae Wyche.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Isabelle Moore of the home; ten children; Temeka Potter, Latasha Potter, Miriam Potter, Reginald Wilds, Zhane LeGrant, Jeremy Potter, Matthew Potter, Jonathan (Laquitta) Moore, Malcolm Baker, and Cory Baker; eighteen grandchildren;  one great grandchild, all of Winston-Salem, NC; eight sisters; five brothers; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends
