On October 30, 2024 Robert Allen Baldwin, aka "Buddyboy"  was called home to be with the his heavenly father. He was born February 9, 1951 in Whiteville, NC to Robert Rice Baldwin and Annie Mae Baldwin.

He was educated in the Forsyth County school system and employed for many years in a family owned roofing company. Buddyboy as he was affectionately called worked other trades also. He was loved by many and was a good father, brother uncle, cousin and friend.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brother James, grandparents, several  aunts, uncles and other relatives.

He is survived by his son, Robert Baldwin,III; a daughter Tjwana Baldwin; a girlfriend of many years, JoAnn Smith; three grandchildren, Nautica S. Baldwin, Reginald A. Williams and Tray'Onna D. Glenn; two brothers David Bethea and Brian Baldwin; a very close nephew  Stefan Baldwin; and a host of other relatives and community friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday November 16, 2024 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.
