Mr. Robert Anthony Redmon was born January 25, 1950 in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, to the late Jerry and Erma Marie Redmon. He attended the Wilkes County public schools, worked as a mechanic, and was a sucesful inventor as well.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Alvin Redmon, Monica Redmon, Cordelia Mosley, and S. Andrew Redmon.

Mr. Redmon departed this life Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Yolanda M. Redmon; a daughter, Rochelle Redmon; siblings. Levan (Betty) Redmon of Monroe, NC, J. Henrietta Redmon of Philadelphia, PA, Lewis Redmon of Albany, GA, Karen Durant of Harrisburg, PA, Jerry C. Redmon of Sacramento, CA, and Maggie Horne of Charlotte, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends, including a special friend, Elon Horton.
