On April 14, 1937, Rochella was born Rochella Alfreda Miles to the late Amos and Hester Miles in Aiken South Carolina. She was educated in Aiken County public schools.  Rochella birth 4 beautiful children married the late Willie James Harmon and moved to Winston Salem North Carolina in the early 70s. She worked at K&W and Winston Laundry for many years.  Rochella spent the last 15 years as a resident at Oak Forest Rehabilitation center where she was adored by many. She enjoyed arts & crafts, Bingo and bible study. She loved the Lord and her absolute favorite thing to do was read her bible.

On Feb 10 ^th 2023, Ms. Rochella Harmon passed away peacefully at Oak Forest Rehabilitation center in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Left to embrace and cherish Rochella's loving memories are her sons: Lenell Miles, John (Myrtle) Myles, Andrea Harmon; and a daughter, Mechell Miles-Smith; 7 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

A Service in her Memory will be held 1:00 pm Sunday February 19, 2023 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.
