Rohaun "Jay" Rutherford, a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend, was born August 6, 1998 in Winston-Salem, NC to Tisonya Britton and Victor Roy Rutherford, Sr. of Kingston, Jamaica.  Rohaun left this world suddenly and unexpectedly at the young age of 21 on July 19, 2020.

Rohaun grew up in Winston-Salem where he attended Parkland High School.  He was a lover of family and a great supporter to friends.   He was outgoing and caring and well known to the family as "Jay."  We will always remember his infectious personality, strong will, and courageous heart.

In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish loving memories, 2 brothers, Michael R. Rutherford, Victor R. Rutherford, Jr; 1 sister, Chenequa "Nikki" Collins (Markeith Collins); and a son due any day and his mother and a dear friend, Janeisha Marion; 4 nephews; a host of cousins; family and friends.

His presence in our lives will be truly missed. When you think of Rohaun, remember the good moments you all have shared.

A public viewing will be held Friday July 31, 2020 from 12 pm-6 pm at Hooper Funeral Home. Funeral services  will be private. Interment will be held at Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC.
