Rosa Anna Broadnax Britt departed this life on June 23, 2023. She was a beloved wife, to the late James Major Britt, Sr., a mother, grandmother, and a homemaker.

As a native and lifelong resident of Reidsville, N.C., she raised seven children and cared for her grandchildren. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of compassion, faith, and family devotion that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Reidsville, a longtime member of Reidsville Baptist Church, and a member of the Reidsville Senior Citizens Center.

Rosa was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Thacker Finley, stepfather, Joe Finley, husband, James Major Britt, Sr.; daughters, Nina Britt Blackwell and Betty Jo Britt; sons, Donald Lee Britt and William Kenny Britt; and grandson, Kenneth Robert Leon Britt. Her surviving family members are her children, James Major Britt, Jr., Annie Britt Allen, and George Britt; brother, Robert Napper, sister, Bernice Napper Evans; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday July 8, 2023 at Reidsville Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-2:00pm at the church on Saturday July 8, 2023. Her remains may be viewed Friday July 7, 2023 from 12pm-6pm at Johnson and Son Funeral Home, 115 Holderby St. Reidsville, NC.
