Santer Barbra Phelps, 65, daughter of Janet Cannon and Colie Phelps Jr. was born on August 12, 1956 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Ms. Phelps was a resident of Winston-Salem, North Carolina for most of her adult life. She was a 1974 graduate of North Forsyth Senior High School and formerly employed at Goodwill Industries as a Lead Cashier and at Salem College as a Security Officer.  Ms. Phelps was an avid shopper and enjoyed watching tennis tournaments on television.

Ms. Phelps was preceded in death by her father, Colie Phelps Jr.

Leaving to cherish fond memories are her son, Nicholas Phelps, mother, Janet Cannon Benjamin, her brother Colie Phelps III and other siblings and a host of nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A service honoring her legacy will be held 2:00 pm Saturday July 23, 2022 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home
