Ms. Sarah Davis Edwards, 97, passed away peacefully at Trellis Supportive Care Wednesday March 2, 2022.  She was born December 15, 1924 to Jim and Minnie Clark Davis in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth county schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Felecia Wright.

She is survived by two sons. Lester (Pamela) Davis of Winston-Salem, NC and Melvin (Hope) Edwards of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Michael Wright, Christopher Davis, Melinda Edwards, Sariah Edwards, Douglas Edwards and Honesti Edwards; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday March 8, 2022 at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, The family will receive friends from 1pm-1:45pm at the funeral home on Tuesday. Online condolences may be sent to www.hooperfuneralhome.net.
