Sheila Willis Lindsey was born on June 21, 1954, to the union of Mary and Cornelius Willis in Winston-Salem, NC. Sheila was known as a strong-willed, hard worker. She worked for many years at ATT but, her true work was being a wonderful mother to her two children. Although Sheila may not have been an active member of a particular church, she most certainly loved the lord and never shied away from letting anyone know it. Her loving personality and infectious smile would light up a room. Sheila was always known as the "life of the party" and will truly be missed.

Sheila Willis Lindsey, departed this life to be with our Heavenly Father on June 29, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Cornelius Willis, son Antonio McClendon, brother Cornelius Frazier and sister Mariam Willis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Stacy McClendon, siblings: Fern Jennings (Dwight Jennings), Julia Carpenter, Janet Martin (Archie Martin), Grandchildren: Naje McClendon, Marquis McClendon, Jada (JL) Williams, Curtis McClendon, and Kara McClendon; Nieces/Nephews: Dwight Jennings(Latasha Jennings), Deronnie Jennings (Demetria Jennings), Angela Hamilton-Rucker (Leo Rucker), Stefano Buffert (Dena Buffert), Reco Buffert, Clyde Willis, Greg Willis, Curtis Willis along with a host of great nephews, great nieces, extended family and friends.

Family visitation will be held 12pm Saturday, July 8th at Hooper Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 1pm.
