Ms. Tandalia Greene was born May 27, 1955 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Thomas and Beulah Norwood Greene. She has been a resident of Winston-Salem, NC for over 40 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Bonita Greene; brother, Johnny Mack; and her devoted companion Rufus Potter, Jr.

Spiritually, she was a faithful member of Heavenly Host Church. Ms. Greene loved her family and church dearly.

She departed this life Friday September 11, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Shawanda Greene; two sons, Rufus Greene and Sherod Greene; six grandchildren; Anthony Brannon Jr., Aniya Brannon, Elizabeth Greene, Shanyia Quaye, Zol'ee Harris and Zamari Harris; five sisters, Gwendolyn Ware, Carolyn Greene, Debra Greene, Janice Greene and LeJuene Greene; two brothers, George Greene and Thomas Junior Greene; a host of other relatives and friends including a devoted friend, Javonne Johnson.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and Salem Terrace Assisted Living for all of your care.

A public viewing will be held Friday September 18, 2020 from 12pm-6pm in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home. Funeral services will be private. Interment will be held at Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
