Mr. Thomas James Brown was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Eugene and Barbara Beck Brown. He attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County public schools and was a 1977 graduate of Parkland High School.

Thomas was employed by Ruth Salads Company until his health declined. In his spare time he was an avid reader, loved riding bicycles and was a "Mr. Fix It All."

He departed this life Friday May 30, 2025 at his residence unexpectedly.

Those left to cherish dear memories are his mother Barbara Brown; three sisters, Deborah Brown of Greensboro, NC, Loretta Brown of Dallas, TX and Kathy Brown of Winston-Salem, NC; three brothers, Eugene (Catherine) Brown  Jr., Timothy Brown and Jimmy Brown all of Winston-Salem, NC; two aunts, Joan Spurgeon and Delores(Rev. James) Gilliam; his devoted companion of the home Crystal Hall; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including his beloved fur baby "Trouble".
