Our princess, Tiana Lynn McDermott, transitioned home to be with Christ on Saturday July 17, 2021.  Tiana Lynn (Twin B) was born June 4, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Health Birthing Center.

Born nearly 17 weeks early and weighing only 1lb 3.9oz, she impacted everyone that encountered.  Daily she amazed her doctors, nurses and especially Mommy and Daddy.  She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed. While we are sad that she is no longer physically with us, we have peace knowing that she is resting in the arms of the Lord.  She will always be remembered as one of the " MacWarriors " as she was small in size, but a giant at heart.

Tiana is survived by her parents, Marvin and Brittney McDermott;  her brother, Tyrie LaMarcus McDermott (Twin A); maternal grandmother, Charlotte Rickard; maternal grandfather, Howard Patterson; paternal grandmother, Sherry "GiGi" McDermott;  and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Melvin D. McDermott Jr,; her great grandparents; and her pet, Sassy.

Sleep well princess Tiana,  Mommy, Daddy and Tyrie love you so much. You'll always be in our hearts

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm  Friday July 30, 2021 in the chapel of Hooper Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 1:30pm-2:00pm at the funeral home Friday.
