Mr. Tommy Davis Sellars attended the public schools  in Lee County. He entered the Military serving in the U.S Army and the  U.S. Navy. He retired from Duke Energy with 35 years of service.

Tommy was born May 2,1951 and departed this life on May 24, 2023. He was preceded in  death by his father, Eddie Thomas Sellars; mother, Hannah Battle Sellars; sister, Jean Barrett and brother, Hubert  Battle.

Tommy  leaves to cherish is memory his loving wife Theresa Yvonne Sellars of the home. His children Kristen Miller (Kenneth) of Wilson, N.C., Ernest Sellars (Sakia) of Charlotte, NC, and Timothy Sellars. A sister Brenda Johnson.

His greatly loved grandchildren Ethan, Elijah, Khloe and Benny. And a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 11am Tuesday, May 30th in Hooper Funeral Home chapel with the funeral service following a 12 Noon. His remains will lie in repose on Tuesday only....
