Tracy Donald Truesdale was born July 14, 1953 in Winston-Salem, NC to the late Alexander and Opal Eller Truesdale. He attended the Winston-Salem Forsyth County public schools and was a graduate of Carver High School.

Tracy worked for many years at Jones Grocery on 14 ^th Street here in the city.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Ronald Truesdale, sister, Cassandra Wright, cousin Harry Jones, and Thelma & James Jones who raised him. He departed this life Sunday May 23, 2021 at The Citadel following a period of illness.

Tracy is survived by a dear cousin/caregiver, Harriett Jones; aunt/caregiver, Aunt Betty; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special friend Jerome.

Per Tracy's request there will be no public viewing or formal services.
