Trina Ellesha Renee' Johnson was born April 13, 1978, in Winston - Salem, NC. She was the daughter of Valdena R. Johnson-Shaw and Carl A. Braxton.

Trina was raised in Castle Heights, went to Cash Elementary School, and Ashley Middle School, and graduated from Carver High School. Trina performed extraordinary acts of kindness and demonstrated selfless commitment to others.

She attended college at Salem College and Winston-Salem State University. In 2016, she was selected Employee of the Year by her peers. On November 19, 2022, marked her 21 ^st year work anniversary with 17 years in supervision at Forsyth County Department of Social Services. Trina assisted countless citizens/employees and contributed to the development and implementation of numerous impactful projects and initiatives both internally and in the community.

Trina departed this life Saturday November 26, 2022 at her residence.

Motherhood was her joy, her passion, and her greatest life achievement.

Trina is survived by five children, Niyana Johnson, Mark March, Ariyana March, Jaysen Banner, and Jaylyn Banner of Winston - Salem, NC, and several siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The Celebration Of Life Ceremony will be held 10:00 am Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church, 3010 Carver School Road Winston-Salem NC 27105.   Masks are 100% required.
