On Monday evening, Januar y 10, 2022 God called home his servant. Veronica G.
J o nes was a l ov in g w if e, m oth er, g randmo t he r a n d e njo yed s pe n d i n g time with her
family. She love writing poetry and was the author of Simply Poetry. S he was a
member of Mo rn ing Star Mis s ionar y Bapti s t Church in Winston-Salem , NC .

Veronica was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Green; one son Michael Gre e n and two broth e r s James and T y ron e Gre e n.

She leaves to cherish precious memories of her life; Her loving and devoted husband o f 3 1 yea r s, Rever e nd Dr. Je s se D. Jon e s , J r . of the home ; One daughter , Eurik a Green; One son Reginald (Shanda) Green both of Winston-Sa l em, NC; T wo grandchildren, Imani and Khalil Green; Two sisters, Melinda (Elder Timothy) Quattle b aum and Monica Cook of Winston-Salem, NC. A special nephew , Anthon y (Keonya) Green of Columbia, SC; Her fa t her and mother-in-law, Jesse, S r. and Mary Jones of Walkertown, NC and a host of cousins, in-laws, neices, nephews and fri en d s .

Funeral service will be conducted 12:00 p.m, Saturday, January 15,2022 at Mo r n i n g St ar Mi ss ionar y Bapt is t Chu r ch . The famil y w i l l r ecei v e fri e nd s from 11: 3 0 a.m . - 12:00 p.m, Interment will be in Gardens of Memory in Walkertown , N C .
