Obituary

Ms. Vivian Clinton, aka "Vip" was born June 19, 1953 in High Point, NC to Ulysses and Betty Jane Griffin Clinton. She attended the Guilford County Schools and was a graduate of High Point Central. Vivian was previously employed by in-home nursing care, K&W Cafeteria, Marsh Furniture and Hayworth, Roll and Panel. Spiritually, she was a member of RC Baldwin Church of Christ where she loved to sing with her soprano voice. She was preceded in death by her father, Ulysses Clinton Sr. and brother, Walt Thomas Chisolm. Vivian loved her family dearly and all their family socials. She kept everyone informed as to what was going on in the family, as well as in her neighborhood. Vivian enjoyed cooking and shopping for wigs, jewelry, purses, and other beauty needs.

She departed this life Saturday December 5, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

She is survived by her son, Hakeem Asad Mujahid Allah, aka William Mitchell Jr. of Mableton, GA; her daughter, Vivian Mitchell of High Point, NC; her mother, Betty G. Clinton of High Point, NC; eight grandchildren, Ladonte' Mitchell of Atlanta, GA, Ahreil Oasis Allah of NY, Jurnee Antoniette Anderson of Atlanta, GA; Alishia (Marcus) Page of Colorado, Bernishia Pickett, Steven Williamson of Greensboro, Jerica Mitchell of High Point, and William Mitchell; six great-grandchildren; her siblings, Ulysses (Myra) Clinton Jr., Anthony (Janice) Clinton, Larry (Barbara) Clinton, Teresa (Marcel) Little, Vordray (Irene) Clinton; aunt, Carrie Clinton, a devoted companion, Willis Cathey; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
