Mr. William Lee Pratt, aka "Bill' was born May 6, 1933 in Wadesboro, North Carolina to the late James Sr. and Anna Huntley Pratt. He departed this life Wednesday August 18, 2021 at Novant Medical Center.

Mr. Pratt was a retiree of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County schools with over 35 years of service. He was the founder of  Bro. Bill  Pratt and the Gospel Crusaders who were known throughout the state. He sang from coast to coast spreading the gospel through song. He loved everyone!

Spiritually, he was a faithful member of Exodus United Baptist Church for over 40 years, where he served as a deacon.   He loved his church family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings.

Survivors include his wife of the home Judy Pratt: three daughters, Josheia Pratt, Sesemica Pratt and Porcha Morrison; two devoted stepchildren; Antonio Gaither and Crystal Gaither; a devoted mother-in-law, Elizabeth Williams, a long time friend Alice Thomas; a host of grandchildren; devoted niece and nephew,, Anna Pratt and, Zavious Pratt; and a host of sisters-in-law; brothers-in-laws; nieces, nephews, cousins and his loving church family.

A service of memory will be held 11:00 am Saturday September 4, 2021 at Exodus United Baptist Church, 2000 Wilbur Street Winston-Salem, NC 27107
