Ty'Rahn Rashad Elliott, the first child to Lavon Maurice Elliott and Tracey Cox Sharps, was born December 20, 1991 in Raleigh, North Carolina. He departed this life Thursday evening, April 17, 2014. Ty'Rahn graduated from Mount Tabor High School, Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2010 where he acquired a variety of awards and trophies throughout his athletic career. He accepted Christ in his life at age 12 and was baptized at Mitchiner's Grove Baptist Church, Franklinton, North Carolina. Ty'Rahn leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Nailah Gabrielle Gould and a son, Ty'Rahn Rashad Elliott Jr.; his parents, Lavon Maurice Elliott (Artisha) and Tracey Cox Sharps (Ronald); his grandparents, Marzella Jones (Ronnie) and Lenora Allen (Burnice); 3 brothers: Malik Neal, Travon Sharps, and Phillip Elliott; two sisters, Toni Clemons and Taiya Cox; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones, and his best friend, Christopher Shane Larkin. The family will receive friends 12 Noon Thursday, April 24, 2014 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 1pm. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
