Mrs. Lena Mae Brown Ingram was presented with her robe in heaven by the Lord on August 23, 2011. Born January 20, 1921 in Athens, Georgia to Eugene and Patsy Hackett Brown, Lena Mae was raised in Red Springs, NC. A life-long faithful and dedicated servant of the Lord and Jesus Christ, Lena Mae was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for 58 years. Lena Mae served the Lord, community and her family all of her life. Her faith, kindness and generosity to family, friends, the sick and shut-in were unmistakable. She lived her life as a missionary by example and leaves this legacy to be continued by her grand-children, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Lena Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Barnes Ingram, a son Clifton Ingram, Sr. and 5 brothers. Those who shall forever cherish her memory are her son, Johnnie M. Ingram, Sr. (Mozella) Winston-Salem, Brother, Crawford Brown, Buffalo, New York, Daughter In-Law, Mattie Ingram (Clifton), Grand Children, Linda Ingram-Lewis (Darryl), Karen Ingram Williams (Warren), Johnnie M. Ingram, Jr. (All of Atlanta, GA.) Pamela Ingram Smart(Cary), Cynthia Ingram Oree (Raeford), Clifton Ingram, Jr.(Belinda), Melissa Ingram Thomas, Ruby Blackburn, Johnell Lamkin (Winston-Salem). A host of great grand-children, and great-great grand children, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends 11:30am Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Shiloh Baptist Church with funeral services immediately following at 12 Noon. Dr. Paul A.
